Weekly Greeting – November 3, 2023 – All Saint’s Sunday, Men’s Fellowship Breakfast, Conference Reminnder and More

Greetings Parish,

As we continue to heal from last week’s events, we invite you to join with us for worship on All Saints’ Sunday (11/5). We will share the sacrament of holy communion, remember those who have joined the great company of the saints of light this past year, and grow in our understanding of stewardship. We will also present a banner which we received from a sister church in Oregon. Remember the clocks ‘fall back’ one hour Saturday night, so you can catch up on an hour of sleep.

On Tuesday, I encourage you to vote as your conscience guides.

The Men’s Fellowship Breakfast was rescheduled to Saturday, November 11th, 7:30 am, UMCA. The women will also gather for a retreat at Camp Mechuwana that day (60 women from around the district), and I believe the Youth Group will be joining for an overnight retreat at Mechuwana that weekend. At UMCA, there will be another Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Hauk Tallmars. I invite you to join us for our annual church conference on 11/16, 6 pm, at Minot UMC, Minot, ME. We will be joining a cluster conference with our District Superintendent, including UMCA, Calvary UMC Lewiston, Minot UMC and Bolsters Mills UMC.
