I want to express gratitude to Stuart Price and Joe Moser for guiding
services this past Sunday. I was in Rhode Island for our son’s wedding
which went beautifully! This Sunday, we celebrate the ministry and mission
of United Women of Faith. Mission pins will be presented, and a World Thank
offering will be gathered. At the 8:30 am service, I will offer communion.
Youth Group will meet for the first time this fall, to grow spiritually
together, enjoy pizza and create carved pumpkins (Sunday, 4-6 pm). This
coming Friday, the Youth Group will attend the Rend Collective concert in
Portland.
On Saturday, October 18th, serving at 5 pm, UMCA, we will join for a public
bean supper (serenaded by the Park Avenue Pickers) and Silent Auction,
sponsored by our Missions Committee. Please bring family and friends as we
enjoy fall fellowship.
The church office will be closed on Monday (October 13th) for Indigenous
Peoples Day.
