God’s grace be with you. Due to the weather pattern forecast for tomorrow
morning, our monthly men’s fellowship breakfast has been postponed to
Saturday, March 14th (7:30 am). At 11 am, though, we will celebrate the
life of Emma Ray (Pam MacDonald’s sister’s granddaughter) with a service of
remembrance, and reception to follow. Don’t forget to change your clocks
later Saturday night for Daylight Savings Time.
On Sunday, 3/8, we will focus on the encounter Jesus has with a Samaritan
woman at Jacob’s Well. It is transformative for her and invites us to enter
the conversation from our perspective. At 10:30 am, we will celebrate Scout
Sunday with an award presentation and witness a baptism of 8-month-old Rue
Veilleux!
Our Lenten mission project continues to be UMCOR (United Methodist
Committee on Relief): Global Migration. Thank you for your second-mile,
freewill contributions.
