Monthly Outreach Worship Services are held at Schooner Estates (third Fridays each month at 11:00 am) and Chapman House (second Fridays at 11:00 am) reaching out to folks who might otherwise be unable to get to church.
Thanksgiving Baskets and Giving Tree: For many years under the leadership and inspiration of Norma Rice-Gould and Pam MacDonald (members of our church) have provided Thanksgiving meals and Christmas gifts for the neediest of families in this area, and this tradition continues. This ministry would not be possible without the generous donations of those in our congregation.
Our Church supports The High Street Food Pantry through the efforts of individuals and as part of our Mission Committee projects. Dozens of families receive necessities and a little something extra each week.
Coffee and Conversation Time is an opportunity to gather right after church each Sunday to catch up on the past week and to make visitors feel welcome.
Our church is a *reconciling intergenerational Christian community that intentionally welcomes all of God’s children. Its mission is to embody Christ’s love through a commitment to serve God by fulfilling the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our congregation and of our local and global communities. We are part of the Many Waters District of the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church. (https://neumc.org)
