God’s joy be with you! This Sunday (7/26), there will NOT be any worship
services held at the UMC of Auburn campus. Instead, we invite you to join
us for “Gathered by Grace,” a cooperative parish Worship & Brunch
opportunity held at the MTM Community Center, 18 School Street, Lisbon
Falls, ME 04252. Bring a lawn chair and join us for this special outdoor
worship event! There will be a children’s tent with special age-appropriate
activities, as well!
This service will also livestream on the UMC of Auburn website at 10 am.
The cooperative parish offering will go to the UM Economic Ministry of
Salem, ME (regular pledge offerings may be mailed to: UMC of Auburn, 439
Park Avenue, Auburn, ME 04210 or given the following Sunday (8/2) at
worship services). Thank you!
This Sunday also begins Camp Meeting Week at Empire Grove. I will be
leading an 8 am communion service at the Empire Grove Chapel on Tuesday,
July 28th and the Vespers Service at 6 pm on Friday, July 31st. We would
love to see you there! Evening Vesper Services are offered every evening
during Camp Meeting Week.
On Saturday, August 1st, our monthly men’s fellowship will gather at the
Worden’s lake home (16 Paradise Lane, Oxford, ME). For those who wish to
carpool, I invite you to meet me at the UMC of Auburn church parking lot at
7:30 am on 8/1.
