Weekly Greeting – March 28, 2025 – UMCOR Sunday, Snow, Men’s Fellowship, and More!

Good morning parish,

God’s grace be with you! It is spring, though the forecast doesn’t do much
to corroborate that fact. I do hope to hold services Sunday for any who can
make it, but please—do not put yourself at risk on icy roads. If Len is
able to make it, we will offer the livestream. Even those scheduled to
serve in some way, please use discernment regarding travel and know that we
can adapt as necessary.

My wife Jude is doing better and is out of ICU. Her kidney function
continues to be low, and it will be a lengthy recovery. Thank you for your
prayers, cards, meals, etc. We are deeply grateful for you!

This Sunday is UMCOR Sunday (formerly One Great Hour of Sharing). The
special connectional offering supports the administrative work of the UM
Committee on Relief so that 100% of every other donation can go to the
project needs of the designated mission. Thank you for your support.

On April 5th, our men’s fellowship breakfast will gather at 7:30 am. We
would love to have you join us! Also on that day, maple syrup will be
distributed by the Irish’s to all who have placed orders (10 am to 12 n).

May your weekend be blessed, safe, and prayerful,

Pastor Steve Bascom
