We are celebrating Rally Sunday this weekend with registration for church
school, youth group, and the return of rehearsals for the Wesleyan Singers
and Handbell Choir. All are welcome! Also, our Men’s Fellowship will gather
for monthly breakfast tomorrow (9/6) at 7:30 am at UMCA. The group is open
to all men of the parish and ecumenical friends, donation basis. All
contributed donations in excess of breakfast expenses are given to the High
Street Food Cupboard.
On Sunday (Happy Grandparents’ Day), we will reflect on Jeremiah’s parable
of the Potter’s Wheel and ways in which God has shaped us for adventure! We
also celebrate the completion of UMCA’s repaved parking lot (with striping
complete). Thank you to all who contributed. If all income given and
pledged is received, almost $40,000 will be returned to the church’s
investment account which floated the cost.
