Tomorrow at 2 pm (June 14th), UMCA, we will gather to celebrate the life of
Betty Fake, a mission-minded follower of Jesus and beloved member of our
parish. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
On Sunday, we will gather in worship to recognize Trinity Sunday, celebrate
Father’s Day and support Peace with Justice through the designated,
connectional, giving opportunity. I will be away on Tuesday and Wednesday
(though I can be reached at 339-44-3746 for a pastoral emergency). The New
England Annual Conference will be held in Danvers, MA, June 19-21. Lucille
Webber and I will represent you through virtual attendance and vote. Our
Youth Group and Lay Leader (Don Malpass) will attend in person. Please hold
us in prayer.
A service celebrating the life of member Thomas Pedersen will be held at
Crosman Funeral Home, Lisbon Falls, on Friday, June 20th, 11 am with
graveside service to follow at Hillside Cemetery (about 12 n).
