As we welcome summer and wrap up the work of the 2025 New England Annual
Conference of the UMC, I want to celebrate our youth who are attending and
learning about what it means to be the church today. Thank you to all who
are helping to facilitate this formative experience!
This Sunday (6/22), we will continue our celebration of Pentecost as we
reflect on ways we discern God’s voice in noisy times. Sunday evening, I
will also guide the vespers worship service at Empire Grove (7 pm) and hope
you join us for that, too!
If you tried to choose your picture proof for the church directory online
and were unable to do so, you might try it once more. I understand the
problem has been fixed. Otherwise, the photographer will be at the church
on Thursday, 6/26, from 10 am to 3 pm to help participants with choosing a
directory photo and ordering photos if desired. Also, if you wish to
participate in the summer 2025 Volunteer in Mission project in Downeast
Maine, please let me know soon. The dates are: 7/6-13.
